Baby #2.... IS A GIRL!!!!!:)

Sooooo today we found out the gender of our second sweet baby!! and it is a girl!!! The whole ultrasound was soo nervewracking, becuase somehow it felt like it was being dragged out wayyy longer then necessary. First of all, we got there at 10:30 sharp and had to wait until 15 minutes after 11 to go in.  We were slightly irritated.  In the ultrasound we were a little freaked out becuase for a while there the doctor could not find the proper valves to the babies heart, but in the end she just wouldnt sit still for more than 2 seconds and no one could get a good look. She was literally flipping her whole body around, doing belly flops, nose dives you name it.  She was a crazy kid!!
  We are SOOOO excited that it is another girl. Can you see, matching outfits? Im so excited to make matching headbands, matching pants, dresses ect ect!! And of course with them only being 17 months apart there will be a time when they look about the same age. YES!:) Is this reality? i dont know, im so excited it just doesnt feel like its actually happening.  Scott just about peed his pants he was so excited.  He had a smile ear to ear practically all day and just kept talking about all of his girls.  I LOVE MY LIFE!!
   So here are some of the ultrasound pictures we got today.  I will have you know that the nurse told us this munchkin has unusually long legs. haha which is so cute.  She will take after scotts height and cedar will take after mine.  Cedars a little grub. 
   A few things i noticed from the ultrasounds, first of all, i dug out cedars ultrasound from the same exact 19 week ultrasound, and they look identical.  THe only difference is that cedar has a basketball round head, (like mine) and new baby girl has a longer oval head more like scotts.   But notice, that their noses are EXACTLY the same, and their lips are EXACTLY the same.  I added a picture of the two ultrasounds side by side.  New baby girls is on the left, and Cedars is on the right.  ENJOY!! i know i did!!


OH.  Of course i could not finish a post without adding some delicious pictures of cedar throughout her busy day.  Ever since we woke up this morning I think cedar knew that it was a special day for the new baby, so cedar has been walking more than ever before.  (In attempt to grab the attention back. haha)  ALSO-  When we went to the dr. appointment and the ultrasound was magnified on the large tv screen above us, cedar waved at it the whole time. CUTE, right? I just about died.

Cedar and Molly

Ohh how Cedar loves her dog molly.  She chases her all around the house, lays against her, talks to her, and my favorite part, she calls her "meemee".   I FINALLY was able to capture a few pictures of her with molly today.  I LOVE THEM!!  I also added a couple of shots from throughout the day that i loved.  When im cooking/baking, i bring out the bubbas and plastic items and she busily plays on the floor.  And of course bath time is a loved time by my baby girl.  She shrieks and giggles, and in this paticular picture she was laughing out loud. did i mention that i love her?

Happy 2 year anniversary Scotty!!

Tomorrow is scotty and my 2 year anniverary!! I can hardly beleive it has already been that long.  I love my scotty with all of my heart and have loved every second of my life with him so far.  I LOVE YOU SCOTTY!!!

Strawberries!

Ohhhh sweet strawberries. where have you been all of my cedars life? Just kidding.  She has always loved them but we cant buy them to often becuase of how expensive they are.  she settled right down with the whole container and loved every second of it!

I am obsessed with my little her.  Everything about her melts my heart.  Every time shes sleeping, i just want her to be awake becuase i miss her so much.  I always go in and peek at her while shes sleeping and today she looked so delicious i just had to share. 
   I love her sweet arms wrapped around her stuffed rabbit, and her dirty feet from crawling around all day.  (she tends to be VERY grubby. haha)  Could i love this girl anymore? No. I dont think so.

Also, here is my 18 week pregnant shot! Not a round belly yet, and im still feeling just like i look fat, but ah well! Here it is anyway!

Update on molly!

WE FOUND OUR DOG MOLLY!!!! This morning we got busy calling all of the local shelters and one thought they had what we described.  We rushed out the door as fast as we could when we heard this hopeful news.  When we got there, we found to our delight that she was there!!! She was incredibly stressed, no doubt to the fleet of barking dogs around her all night. Poor thing.  HOWEVER.  We had to pay $87.00 to reclaim our dog that was picked up 2 houses down the street from our house.  Obnoxious right?  Of course this kind of thing always happens at the most perfect timing.  (sarcasm.)  BUT of course there was nothing that was going to stop us from taking our sweet molly home so we payed the fee and went home.  Sigh.  I am not so much upset at the shelter, becuase i understand why they have to do things the way they do if they want to stay open, but i think its more just that it had to happen NOW. ah well. Life goes on, right? We're just glad we found her!  Our worst fears were that she was hit by a car or that someone took her. 
  (side note:  CEdar LOVES her dog.  She calles her meemeemee. They have been playing together almost all morning.) 
   Anyway, on to house cleaning! Its one of those days!!
OH.  My tomatoe plants have tiny baby tomatoes!! I AM SO EXCITED!!!!

Same ol' same ol'.

Lately I have been a daisy downer  becuase i am tired of routine.  The odd thing about it is that I love routine.  I like to wash the dishes before i go to bed so that when i wake up int he morning the house is clean.  I like to clean up cedars toys with her every night before she goes to bed.  I dont like to use a towel twice in a row. (bad habit i know.)  I always watch one waltons episode every day before i get in the shower.  I always brush my teeth after i get out of the shower.   All of these things and sooo many more are needs in my life to stay sane.  However, the past few weeks I have been really struggling with feeling like my routine is just to regular.  I am tired of being home all day every day cleaning and taking care of my baby.  These things are joys becuase it makes me take pride in my home and i love every second of being with my baby, but come on.  How much of this can a person take?  All of scott and my friends work.  All of my girl friends have good jobs and are making pretty good money.  BUT. none of them have kids.  I am just feeling a little behind in the world of employment.  Im feeling in a rut becuase i am not helping with the income, and i am missing the social aspects of having a job.  There was a time around new years of this year that i did get a job and scotty and I worked around eachothers schedules to watch cedar ect.  However, it ended up not working out becuase cedar was VERY stressed, and my milk supply went way low and i ended up not being able to breast feed. (For many reasons, i wont get into that.)  I am also 4 1/2 mos. pregnant and i will also add that scotty told me that i does not want me to work, that he wants me to rest at home during this pregnancy and care for Cedar.  I am just going crazy!!!!!!!! I have been doing crafts, and I am even going to sell some of my headbands at a local consignment store.  But is this enough????? anyway.  My rants are over. im just feeling bluh. 

    On an even more depressing note, Our dog molly has been missing since 10:00 this morning and it is now 10:00 at night.  Weve been progressivly getting more and more worried.  I love that dumb dog and i dont want anything to happen to her.  UGH.  keep her in your prayers!!

I have been drooling over this piece at a local consignment store here in Ogden called, "Sock money."  After over a year of doing this, scotty and I went in with a bunch of antiques and goodies to trade with.  AND SCOTTY SURPRISED ME WITH TRADING FOR THIS!!!!!!!! I could have cried i was so excited.

    ANother exciting tid bit, I have spoken with the owner of sock monkey, (Cj) and i am all set to bring in some of my homeade little girl headbands to sell! YAY!!! That is all for now!

We've got a 1 year old!

Well, today is July 21st! Which can mean only one thing.... CEDARS 1ST BIRTHDAY!!!!   When i think about it, it almost feels like someone is lieing to me and that it couldn't possibly be true. Has it really been a year? where did the time go? Jeeze i guess ill have to go and tell everyone that told me that it; "Goes by wayyy to fast." that they were right.  This year has brought so many amazing things for our cedar.  The things that she has learned, and that she has taught both scotty and I are baffling.  My baby girl is 1 year old today, and as i write this and shes sleeping soundly in her bed it makes me want to go in scoop her up and cuddle with her. (even though it took a good hour to get her to sleep. . . so actually i take that last part back.) 
     ANYWAY-- We just got back from our vacation to Vermont! It was such a wonderful trip and scotty and i were sooo glad we finally got to go in the summer.  Scotty especially loved bottle hunting in the clyde river. (he went 5 times.)  Even though each time he came home with leaches all over his body. He probably lost half of his blood supply. Cedar was hilarious the whole trip and of course learned some new tricks and faces.  I especially loved the time i spent with my parents.  Could i love them anymore? I dont think so.  This was the very first time that when scotty and i went to vt i was homesick for utah after half of the trip.  Good sign!
         Today we went to the Dubach family reunion.  ( Scottys moms family.) It was great.  We ordered a cake to celebrate cedars birthday and of course cedar sported a birthday girl outfit. (I wish i had taken a picture. sorry.)   After the reunion we drove back to our home in Ogden!! YAY!! It felt all to strange walking through our front door when it had been over 2 weeks since we had been there!  OF COURSE im a moron and left a bag of blueberries on the counter so it wreaked up the house. yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.  something always has to go wrong, and there were a few other things that i wont go into. (BLECH.)  Ive been hurrying around cleaning and unpacking all day while scotty went straight to work. I LOVE HIM!   he was excited to get back into the groove of his job, and i am excited to get some bills and debt paid off so its wonderful!  DId i mention he just got called for another part time job at Downheast?? WELL HE DID!! i am so proud of him for jumping right into getting a second job.  We have talked about it for a while and decided that at least until the new baby comes in Dec. that it is the best choice for us.  Scott of course, had nothing negative to say. Hes so wonderful. did i mention I LOVE HIM?:)   It makes me feel more anxious to get out then ever however, i would love to get out and get a part time job but thres just no way we can do both, and scotty told me that was not an option. He wants me to stay home and take care of cedar and the new grub in my belly full time.  (theres some concerns about my incision still healing and growing a baby so we have to be extra careful this time around.)

SO LONG FACEBOOK!

I do believe you folks will be seeing a lot more of me on this blog of mine.  I finally did it, I erased my facebook account.  There were several reasons why i had had just about enough of it,  but mostly i did it for my own sanity.  ANYWAY! I feel very free, and like i can finally get some things done around here.  (totally kidding, but still.)  
   Scotty and I are in Vermont until the 20th of this month!! So this post is officially from the beautiful state of Vermont.  Cedar has been a riot so far on this trip, and has been coming up with new silly things just about every time i turn my head.  We have plans to go boating, camping, hiking, go to santas village, visit family, ect ect. while we are here. WE ARE FINALLY HERE IN THE SUMMER!! anyway, this wont be a long post.  Just wanted to let you all know to keep an eye on our blog more often because we are done with facebook land! love you all, and i promise the next post will be a tad more interesting with some delicious pictures of mrs. Cedar Helen!
